Hello all!!
My name is Hillary Williams and I am a 1st year teacher at Grand Prairie ISD. I teach 9th grade AVID and Professional Communications. I absolute love what I'm doing and couldn't ask for a better job!
I went to high school at Cedar Hill High School and graduated a year early in 2007. I immediately started college at The University of Texas at Arlington.During college, I was an AVID tutor and a substitute teacher in Grand Prairie ISD. I graduated from UT-Arlington in 2011 with my B.A. Organizational Communication and began working for the City of Fort Worth in the Water Conservation Department. While I loved the people I worked with, I missed being in the education system. I did a little bit of looking online and found out that the same school that I tutored and subbed for was looking for an AVID and Communication teacher! Perfect fit, right? So, naturally, I applied! One week later I was hired and on my way to becoming a teacher.
I love to shop, hang out with my family and friends, and listen to music. I am always looking for something new and fun and love to talk to people.
